Family
Carmen Lamp

The love of my life.  A California girl who received her undergraduate degree at UCLA and her PharmD at UCSF.   Carmen has worked at UCLA on the CCU / ICU floor and in Home Care Pharmacy.  She is currently working at Amgen, Inc.   She loves movies and one day will be a screenwriter.

Sarah Taylor Lamp
Oldest daughter and in 10th grade at TOHS.  Compassionate, empathetic, loves all animals, colorguard member and of course smart and beautiful.  Wants to be a veterinarian.

Rebecca Therese Lamp
Middle daughter and in 9th grade at TOHS.  Loves her friends, great debator, volleyball player and of course smart and beautiful.  Wants to be a litigator.

Jane Katherine Lamp
Youngest daughter and in 7th grade at RMS.  Funny, loves at least 4 animals, super-coordinated, volleyball player and of course smart and beautiful.  Wants to be a teacher.

Jane Marie Lamp
Grandy to our girls, and Mom to Carmen and me.  Funny, well read, loves to help others, always on time and well dressed.  Wants to be a Great-grandmother (NOT!)

Robert H. Lamp
(11-01-1936 to 08-10-2003).  Grandpa to our girls, and Dad to Carmen and me.  Absolutely the best father a son could ever have.  He was loved by all.  He respected all others at all stations of life.  The strength of our family and someone who cannot be replaced.

Trooper Lamp
10 years old.  Our first dog.  He was named Trooper by Carmen because he did not cry or flinch at all when he needed to get his shots.  Loves to be with people and wants to please.  Always happy.  In his day, he could do anything we asked, but now as the oldest member of the family he struggles with arthritis, but still lives up to his name.

Dakota Lamp
7 years old.  Our second dog.  She was named Dakota by Carmen because it sounded cool.  Loves to be with Trooper and us if we have food or want to play fetch.  Is the best dog at fetching I have ever seen.  Lightning quick reflexes.  She has bad allergies and was always scratching.  Finally, we decided to put her on prednisone, which has changed her life; she's a much happier dog.  Obviously, the prednisone will have consequences on her longevity, but I don't think she wants to live a day past Trooper.

Rocky Lamp
3 months old.  Our third dog.  He was named Rocky by Carmen, because he looks like a raccoon (Rocky the Racoon if you can remember that far back, if not then he was named Rocky because he likes to play with rocks).  There was no way we were going to get a third dog, but then he melted everyone's hearts or the parents had a very big lapse in judgement (I know you are thinking the latter).  Not potty trained, not chew trained.  Can sit, but will not come, stay or anything else.  Loves to explore and loves to sit staring out into space.  We are not sure why, but he's cute when he does it.
